FAG is a 3-ply metallic tatting thread measuring approximately 0.2 mm in overall thickness. It is made with a silver-coated metallic filament and finished with a clear protective coating that helps reduce direct contact with air and moisture.
FAG offers the brightest and most reflective shimmer of the three series, making it a lovely choice for detailed jewelry and lacework that needs a noticeable metallic sparkle.

Compared with FAG, TAG has a softer and more subdued shine, together with a gentler feel suited to jewelry worn near the skin.
